Saw Mill River Spots

The inimitable Steve Pucillo and his volunteers have installed eleven Spots along the South County Trailway, one of the major branches of Hastings' conceptual pollinator pathway. Out of a trash-strewn trail that suffered from invasive vines and erosion, Steve and his team have created butterfly gardens, boardwalks, birdhouses, removed invasives and planted trees. The South County Trailway is a paved path, great for walking, biking, jogging and rollerblading.
