The Great Hastings Seed Swap

Grow, share, expand!

By sharing seeds, we raise the energy and diversity of all gardens. Join our inaugural seed swap at the Hastings Farmers' Market: Saturday, February 20th, 9:30-1pm, Zinsser Commuter Lot (aka train station parking lot under Warburton Bridge).

How our free seed swap works: You share extra seeds from your stash, we organize, label, and make seeds available for pick up at an event. You can then add diversity to your garden by getting free seeds from others.

For our inaugural swap: email us by Sunday 2/14 the seeds you have to share, and we'll make a master list. Drop off your seeds with us as early as you can, but no later than Wednesday, 2/17, Hastings location TBA. We'll sort them into packets for others to pick up at our table just outside the market. Everyone is welcome to pick up a packet of seeds, and every year's seed crop will expand as more people save their seeds to share with others. (HPP seed-saving teach-in this fall, TBA.)

We have even "seeded" our collection by sourcing seed packets, donated by native nurseries, which we will share at the table. So c'mon down even if you don't yet have seeds to share.
